What We Offer
Lucky Oberon Arts is a growing collection of handcrafted work born from a deep love of the strange, the natural, and the deeply personal. Currently available are original poetry books with wax seal closures, hand-painted artwork, and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Coming soon: oddities and curiosities including jarred specimens (moths, beetles, and more), bone and antler art, skull engravings, art prints, and potentially a collaboration with Sunwoven Soaps. Custom commissions are also welcome — from incorporating a specific stone into a piece, to memorial horsehair bracelets, to original paintings brought to life from your vision.
The Name
Oberon is the king of the fairies in folklore — and the name of one of the moons of Uranus. But at the heart of this name is something far more personal. Oberon was my soul cat: a fluffy black cat who moved through the world like a crow wearing fur. He was always on my shoulder, slept under my chin every night, and came into my life when I rescued him while working at the SPCA. He was a crow in a cat's body, and he left a mark on my soul that will never fade. Lucky Oberon Arts carries his name as a tribute — and as a reminder that the most magical things often come to us when we least expect them.
Origins
This work is generational. It is a spiritual calling that has always been present, passed through blood and bone and the quiet insistence of people who love me most. Those closest to me have made it clear: if I ever stopped creating, they would not forgive me. So I create — not just for myself, but because art is something that needs to be shared. Lucky Oberon Arts is the answer to that calling made visible.
Where We're Going
The vision for Lucky Oberon Arts continues to grow. Alongside the expanding catalog of jewelry, paintings, books, and oddities, there are plans to deepen the work with animal skull engraving, more bone and antler art, and tattoo work rooted in the same dark, organic aesthetic. Every bone, antler, and natural material used in this work has been ethically sourced — found by myself and close friends and family on horseback trail rides, or collected through old finds passed down through people I trust. Nothing here is taken lightly. Everything carries a story.
